CUPRA Germany Premier Padel P2 Celebrates a successful Premier in Düsseldorf!

Thrilling matches, brilliant winners and well-filled stands on the final weekend!

Düsseldorf, September 30, 2025 – With thrilling finals and strong visitors interest, the CUPRA Germany Premier Padel P2 celebrated a successful debut in Düsseldorf. The CASTELLO hosted the world’s top two pairings in both the men’s and women’s competitions, bringing the very best of international padel to Germany for the first time.

In the women’s competition, Gemma Triay and Delfina Brea (#1) claimed the title after a spectacular three-set battle against Ari Sánchez and Paula Josemaría (#2) (6-4, 4-6, 6-3). The match lasted three hours and 20 minutes, making it the second-longest women’s final in Premier Padel history. In the men’s final, Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto (#2) defeated world number ones Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia 7-6(7), 6-2 to secure their fifth title of the season and Galán’s 50th career crown.

Throughout the final weekend, more than 5,000 visitors followed the matches live, enjoying not only world-class padel but also a vibrant entertainment program with sponsor booths and fan interactions. Germany’s first Premier Padel event turned into a true festival of sport and atmosphere.

The event also attracted several well-known sports personalities, including Aleix Garcia (who took part in the trophy ceremony), Lucas Vázquez and Exequiel Palacios, who all came to Düsseldorf to watch the world’s best padel players live in action.

A Premiere in Germany

The tournament marked the German debut of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour and representes an important milestone for the sport’s development in the country. In addition to the spectators in Düsseldorf, millions of fans worldwide followed the matches via live streams on Red Bull TV and Premier Padel’s official channels.

Looking Ahead to 2026

Germany will once again be part of the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour next year. The dates are already set: from 10 to 18 October 2026 (subject to change), the world’s top padel stars will return to Germany. The exact host location will be announced at a later date.
